Center for the Care and Instruction of orphans in rural areas

Women and children

This project aims to establish a Center for the Care and Instruction to benefit children in rural areas. The center will care for children from 2 to 6 years of age in the Commune of Arbollé, Province of Passoré.

The target group for this project consists of children in rural areas who do not have the opportunity to benefit from a preschool experience to awaken their physical, intellectual, and moral aptitudes.

Moreover, we are currently witnessing a total abandonment of children who have suffered the loss of their mothers and fathers to AIDS.

Such preschool centers, of which 95% are located in urban areas, are widely considered in our country to be reserved for the children of rich families.

The establishment of a Center for Care and Instruction in the Commune of Arbollé, disposed to educate the Commune’s children, will serve as a catalyst for the promotion of the Rights of the Child in the region, notably for the rights to education, health, care, and leisure. It will also serve to promote a healthy diet, and the social integration of abandoned children.

As is the case with most of the Departments of this country, Arbollé has no center for instruction of young children, even less one capable of caring for children orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
